Simply Magnolia DT Color Combo

Hello my dear friends. Today is the first day of my vacation, we are headed up North to Lake Placid N.Y. Hopefully they will have some snow so we can play around with our snowmobiles. We will be gone for a week and I'm never sure if we will have Internet service or not soooo hopefully all of my posts will work and make it to my blog on time or somewhere near there. One can only hope.

This week at Simply Magnolia we have a fabulous color combo challenge for you and the recipe is red and/or pink and white. Perfect for those last minute Valentine cards for that special someone.

My card features the lovely Tilda with Daisy from the new Sweet Crazy Love collection. I colored her in using Copic markers. The lovely designer papers are by Magnolia as well as the tag which is hidden, so sorry. The gorgeous flowers are by WOC as well as the metal corner which I used my Picket Fence dabber on. Ribbon, lace and charm are from my stash.

Raise The Bar GDT Chocolate and Roses

Oh my Love's I've got some awesome fabulous news to share with you. I am a Guest Bar-Tender at Raise the Bar challenge. This weeks theme is chocolate and roses (reds and browns).

I chose to use a Saturated Canary image called Gothica isn't she sooooo sweet? I colored her in using Copic markers and I really wanted to make those two strips of hair that go along her face red but I forgot and added the brown instead. Oh well next time. I thought these two colors together were awesome and I found some really cute paper. The designer paper with the mushrooms are by Imaginisce called Mushroom Fancy and the striped sheet is by 3 Bugs in a Rug called Happy Bird-Day. The brown and red card stock is Bazzill. Flowers are by Wild Orchids and Recollections. I made a pebble with one of the cute little mushrooms and a gorgeous stick pin which I tucked behind the flowers. The sentiment is by Autumn Leaves, I thought it suited this card perfectly.

Whoopsi Daisy DT Cute & Cuddly

Sad news our team lost the Super Bowl but, there is always next year. OMG lots of yelling and screaming went on at the party but we had an awesome time. Our neighbor Bobby had a house full of Patriots fan, tons of food and even had a beautiful fireworks display. Then we made our way down the street to our other friends to watch the rest of the game. I enjoyed Madonna at half time and as always they had cute commercials.
Today's card features this darling image from Whoopsi Daisy which can be found HERE. I colored this little cutie in using Copic Markers. The designer papers are by Crate Paper from the Emma's Shoppe Collection. The lovely flowers are by Prima. I just got in some new die's that I ordered from Cuddly Buddly. OMG I love them. They are all Creatables by Marianne Designs. The Anja Corner which I know this picture doesn't pick up the details well is gorgeous. The leaves and the spray leaves are also very intricate and beautiful. The sweet sentiment is by Whimsy Stamps.

Today's card features these little doll face by Belles n' Whistles called Sassy in Patches. I haven't colored this little angel in ages and she's soooo cute. I used Copic markers to ink her up. The beautiful designer papers are by DCWV called Pretty Princess, each sheet is amazing! I used silk flowers from my stash. Handmade stick pin tucked behind the flowers. The plastic flowers are by Recollections. The sweet sentiment is by Whimsy Stamps. I also have some die cuts by Marianne's Designs, the flourishes and the corner piece. Good Morning my lovelies. I have some fabulous news. Oh I'm so very excited and honored to have been chosen as a guest designer for the month of February for The ABC challenge. And this is my very first card. Yeah Whoo Hoo!!!!

Ok so this weeks challenge at The ABC is I for in pairs. Use two of something on your card or project.

For my card I chose to use this adorable image from Saturated Canary, she's called Pricilla. Don't you just love her fun hair? I colored her in using Copic makers. The gorgeous paper is by Prima. I used a Martha Stewart heart die for around the entire card. This was a technique that I saw on my lovely friend Carol's blog Chocolate, Crafts and Bears Oh My. Do yourself a huge favor and give her a visit she is so inspiring and creates the most amazing work. For my pairs I embellished my card with two butterfly's a Martha Stewart punch. Two pearl hearts by WOC, and two handmade stick pins. The metal corners are by WOC which I used my Snow Cap dauber on.

My card was featured under daily talent spot at Joanna Sheen's monthly challenge

Hello my friends it's time once again for another challenge at Simply Magnolia. Whoo hoo And this weeks theme is Love & Hearts. Perfect time to be making those Valentines cards for that special someone.

My card features this adorable Tilda wearing her heart on her sleeve so to speak. lol She is from the You Are So Special line and she's called Tilda with Many Hearts. I colored her in using Copic Markers. The paper is also by Magnolia as well as the heart stamp, heart boarder die cut and the tag. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the butterfly's aren't they so cute? The seam binding is hand colored by me. I added some pearls from Recollections and the metal corner is from WOC.

Hello my lovelies! Happy Friday. I hope you all had a terrific week. I was able to spend lots of time in my craft room coloring this week. Fun, fun, fun!

Today's card features this amazingly adorable stamp that I won from a challenge that I had entered. She is from Whimsy stamps Wee Stamps and she's called Sweet Blossom. I'm starting to have a wonderful collection of these darling stamps. I colored her with my Copic markers. The paper is by DCWV. The lovely bouquet of flowers are by Wild Orchids as well as the metal corner. The bling and pearls are by Sva Creative. The gorgeous lace is from one of my bestest buddies. The seam binding I hand dyed and attached some twine and an adorable heart bubble which is by K&Co.

Hello my dear friends. Awww thank you so much for all of the sweet comments that you leave for me. I enjoy reading them and it truly makes my day brighter. Your love and support mean so very much to me.

Today I made a card using an adorable Saturated Canary image which is called Hand-Me-Downs. Isn't she the cutest. I colored her with my Copic markers using that sparkly paper which I can't remember the name of. And I'm not sure if I really like it or not. Anyway I used a Spellbinder die for her oval frame, the corner scrolls and the sentiment frames. The tag die cut (which you can't see) is by Magnolia as well as the flourishes. And those larger flowers you see are also created using a Spellbinder die. I inked the edges with Concord Distress ink added Stickles. The smaller flowers are by Marianne's Designs. The beautiful sentiment is by Whimsy stamps. I tucked a stickpin behind the hand dyed seam binding ribbon and attached a cute little charm that reads "Dancing Queen".

Tilda Celebrate Love

Good morning my friends. I hope your weekend was as exciting as mine was. We had a wonderful Birthday party for my son-in-law Ricky on Saturday. And yesterday was the football play offs and our team The Patriots WON!!!!!! We are headed to the Super Bowl in two weeks. Whooo hoooo!!!! And our best friend Rich's team The NY Giants also won. Omg so Super Bowl Sunday party will be a lot of screaming and swearing because Sean and Rich will be at each others throats with every play. God help us. lol

The best news of all is I got my new computer and it's all hooked up. I love it, totally screams with super fast speed. I am thrilled with it and now I'll be able to keep up with all that's going on and leave comments again. Thank gosh......sign with happiness.

So onto today's card which once again features my beloved Tilda from Magnolia's newest collection Sweet Crazy Love and she's called Tilda with Apple. I colored her in using Copic markers. The gorgeous paper is by Magnolia. The lovely sentiment is by Whimsy Stamps. The lovely heart die cut is by Crafty Sentiments Designs, isn't it awesome? The beautiful resin corner is by Melissa Frances. The flowers and flourishes are by Marianne Designs which I used my snow cap dauber on the tips for a bit of a romantic shabby look. I did the same the the paper after I used my Tim Holtz distress tool. If you notice in amongst the seam binding is an adorable glass heart shaped vial which I filled with Martha Stewart glass beads. I also tucked two hand assembles stick pins.

Tilda with wrapped heart. Backyard visiter????

Good Morning my lovely friends. I hope you all had a wonderful and creative week. Perhaps tried something new? Used some new goodies you received for Christmas? Maybe just chilled out and took a little break? I did all three this week! I'm glad it's Friday as we are having a Karaoke party for my son-in-law Ricky to celebrate his Birthday which was January 18th. I'm looking forward to our get together. Then we have the big football games on Sunday, so exciting.

Right then here is my card that features Tilda from the newest Magnolia release Sweet Crazy Love, she's called Tilda with Wrapped Heart. I colored her with my beloved Copic markers. The gorgeous papers are also by Magnolia as well as the heart swirl doohickey die and the bloomy tag doohickey die. The flowers are handmade with a die by Marianne Designs. The bling is by Recollections as well as the resin corner scroll which I used my Snow cap dauber on. The beautiful double heart border is by Crafty Sentiments Designs, which Sean bought for me for Christmas. I assembled the stick pin and crystal charm.

I would also like to share with you our newest backyard friend. Sorry the picture is so dark but it was taken at night. This is our backyard visitor which is a beautiful Bobcat. She/he has been around for a few weeks now probably hunting our rabbits and squirrels. She has been seen roaming in our backyard usually around 6:00 pm. We are thinking she/he weighs about 40 lbs. Absolutely beautiful. Now that we have some snow on the ground we can see her/his paw prints. The bottom picture is one that I got off the Internet to show you what the face looks like.

Saturated Canary Whispy Fairy

Good afternoon my fabulous friends. I have to apologise to you all if I've not visited you. I am currently working from my laptop which is so super slow, that everytime I try to leave comments it times out. My computer is getting some TLC at the moment but I promise to visit as soon as I can.

Today's card features one of my favorite artist Krista Smith's digital image which is called Whispy Fairy. Isn't she just gorgeous. I love her lovely cascading hair, reminds me of my daughter as I used to put just the one pony tail on the side. Anyway I loved working with this image. The designer paper is by Prima. The butterfly, flowers and the resin corner piece is by Recollections. The beautiful circle sentiment is my Lili of the Valley. The bling and crochet flowers I found in the dollar bin at Michael's Crafts Store. I have some awesome sweet die cuts but because I went a little nuts with the embellies you can't see them. I should probably take a picture of the card prior to blinging it up. The metal key is by Tim Holtz which I used some Alcohol ink in Butterscotch so that it matched better. The rest of my embellies are from my stash.

Whoopsi Daisy Test Tube Candy Holder

Good Morning my wonderful friends and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Mine was busy as usual crafting and spending time with the family. We had big football parties all weekend long with the Patriots and the Giants winning. My husband is the Patriots fan and his best friend is the Giants fan soooooo needless to say both team may see the Super Bowl again.

Today marks a new day for another fabulous challenge at Whoopsi Daisy. This weeks theme is anything but square. So I decided to make this adorable test tube candy holder. It's another project that I've wanted to try for a while and finally got the courage up to make a go of it. OMG really easy. I was freakin out for nothing. Lots of fun to make and I got to eat all the extra candy kisses lol. Here is where I found the tutorial.

So I chose this adorable image by Whoopsi Daisy that can be found HERE on sheet 290. Isn't she sooo cute? I colored her in with Copic markers. The hearts are made with a Martha Stewart punch. Paper is by K&Co as well as the pretty sentiment. I used misc. flowers and lace from my stash.

This is my SECOND POST for today.
OMG I am so late on my posts today, my deepest apologies. Seems my computer is again not working properly. Sean and I are seriously looking into perhaps an upgrade. Shhh I don't want to jinks myself before we do anything because it seems AT THE MOMENT my computer is cooperating.

Ok so we have a sketch challenge this month at CLP challenge. And our sponsor is Sassy Studio Designs. My card features Steampunk Victoria isn't she amazing? I had the best best time working with her and watching her come to life. I colored her in using my Copic markers. The paper is DCWV, black Bazzill and Kraft. I have a lot of fun little things going on here that I'd like to share with you. First the lovely flowers are by Wild Orchids which I inked the edges using Tumbled Glass Distress ink. Then I painted on Crackle accents to give it that glass or metal look. The flourishes are cut with a Magnolia die and the round die cuts are by Spellbinder. I inked the Kraft paper with Vintage photo then again painted on the Crackle accent. The bevelled glass piece is by Tim Holtz and I did the same crackle glass method with that as well. The is that adorable key that I found in the dollar bin at Michael's and I attached a little charm to it. The metal sprockets are by Tim Holtz and I added some alcohol ink in Ginger to match the Kraft paper.

Simply Magnolia Anything but a Card

Hello my lovelies it's once again time for another challenge over at Simply Magnolia and this weeks

theme is anything but a card.

I took this weeks theme as a wonderful opportunity to create something that I've wanted to do for quite some time now. Gosh it had to be years ago that I wrote down the instructions on how to create a tea bag dispenser. I now wish I had the for site to write down the blog name from which I found it. So here is my tea bag dispenser which features the beautiful Miss Tilda this stamp is from the newest release collection Sweet Crazy Love and she's called Tilda with Daisy. I colored her in using Copic markers but didn't quite get her pleats right, I need more practice on this technique. The paper is by Recollections called Pretty as a Peacock. The heart border die cut is by Magnolia, her frame die cut is by Spellbinder and the flourish on top is by Marianne Designs. Ribbon is from my stash and the flowers are by Wild Orchids.

Good Morning my friends. We finally got some snow last night but it turned into rain and now it's all sloppy slush. Yucky!!! So I guess I'll stay in today and color which is always the best alternative to Anything!

I don't have a card to share with you today. Instead I'll like to show you the origami box that I created. The paper is again from K&Co old Valentine stash. I embellished with flowers by Wilds Orchids. The heart punch around the page is by Martha Stewart. I inked the edges, applied Stickles and finished with Liquid Pearls, The flourish die cuts are by Marianne Designs, these are my new favs.

Tilda, You are my Heart!

Good Morning my friends and welcome to a brand new day. The sun is shining here and it's simply lovely out. We've been having unseasonably warm weather and I'm a bit concerned as our snowmobile trip is in a month, and still we have no snow.

I have another card to share with you today that features one of the new Tilda stamps from the Sweet Crazy Love collection. The are all so adorable I just can't seem to get enough of them. I colored Tilda in using my Copic Markers. The designer papers are by Little Yellow Bicycle called Love Letter's. Again I found these in my old stash. I used lots of die cuts which include Magnolia, Marianne Designs and Spellbinders. I used a heart doily and I inked it up using a script design stamp by Tim Holtz then added some Golden Rod Stickles. The beautiful sentiment is by Magnolia. I made some flowers using a die cut from Marianne Designs. I also added flowers and the filigree corner from Wild Orchids.

Good Morning my friends I hope your weekend was enjoyable.

This week at Whoopsi Daisy the theme is Pink and Green. I chose to use this adorable Fairy image which can be found Here. I just fell in love with her gorgeous wings, skirt and that fabulous hair. I colored her using my Copic Markers. For her skirt I used YG09, YG06 AND YG11. For her top and wings I used RV13, RV10RV00, BG05, BG01 and B00. I used designer papers by Tim Holtz called Vintage Shabby and Prima called Fairy Flora. Flowers are by Recollections as well as the bling flourishes.The beautiful sentiment is by Lili of the Valley. The chipboard bird and banner pieces are by Jenni Bowlin which I used my picked fence dauber then added Distress Crackle paint in clear rock candy then finished off with Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass. This technique is so easy and so fun and the results are fabulous. For the Fairy charm I added a few drops of Tim Holtz alcohol Ink in Denim. I distressed all the edges of the card then added Vintage Photo Distress Ink and finished with Champagne Glitz Stickles. The green flourishes were made with a Magnolia die as well as the removable tag. I added some Martha Stewart glass beads to the cheese cloth and Perfect Pearls around her frame which was made using Spellbinder dies.
This card was so much fun to make that I urge you to give this darling image a try as well as the other techniques used.

Tilda Celebrates Love & a Criss Cross Card

I hope every one enjoyed their first week of 2012 and that it was filled with creativity!

Well now I tried something a little different, my very FIRST Criss Cross card. OMG it was so fun and sooooo easy. It features the delightful Miss Tilda which I colored using my Copic Markers. The paper is by K&Co from years past. I'm trying to use up my old paper before diving into my new. Ya lets see how long that lasts. HA! I used some really pretty pink and red rosette ribbon also from old stash. The criss cross punch is by Martha Stewart. The sentiment is by Whimsy Stamps and the frame is a Spellbinders die. Flowers are Marianne's Designs as well as some of the flourishes. I also have Magnolia flourishes. The bling flourishes and white pearls are by Recollections. The heart I cut with my Cricut and I attached an adorable cupid to my hand dyed seam binding. I also dabbed Liquid Pearls here and there, I find that this is a nice touch. I should have added another Magnolia stamp to the insert but given the fact that I have so many other projects that I can't wait to get too I didn't have the time. Next time....

Hello my lovely friends. I hope your week has been fabulous!!! Today was a very special day for us. I went to the Dr's with Jenn and Rick for her ultrasound and guess what? They are having a baby GIRL!!! Whoo Hoooo we didn't have any kind of preference but their daughter Caila was hoping and praying for a baby sister that she can play Barbie's with and read books too. When we told her I though she was going to cry she was so happy. Awwww so sweet another grand child!!!!!

Today's card features one of my most favorites from Saturated Canary she's called Tressa, A Princess. Ha I think I say that about every single one that I've colored so far lol

I colored her using my beloved Copic markers. The gorgeous designer papers are by My Mind's Eye called Lost & Found *Madison Avenue. I made the charm handing from the removable tag and the stick pin that's tucked behind the seam binding ribbon. The gorgeous flowers were a gift and they are by Recollections. The pearl swirls are by Prima and the gorgeous bird and flourishes were also a gift from a friend which were originally white and I inked them up using Tattered Rose Distress Ink then sprayed them with Perfect Pearls, I love the shimmer.

Good Morning everyone!

We have a brand new challenge this week at Whoopsi Daisy and your gonna love it. The theme is free and easy to do what you like as long as you use a Whoopsi Daisy image.

I chose to use this little darling which can be found HERE sheet #319.

I used Copic markers to color here in. I used R85, R83,R81 and RV00 on her dress, shoes and hair bows. YR24,YR14,YR21,YR31 and E50 for her hair.

The designer paper is by K&Co called Sweet Nector. Flowers are by Pataloo and Prima. I used some Flower Soft around her frame which is by Spellbinders. Flourishes by Magnolia and Marianne Designs.

Hello my lovelies and welcome to 2012!!!!

Happy New Year!!!

We had a splendid party with the family last night that lasted well into the morning hours. Lots of fun we have when the clan gets together.

Today is a new day, a new year and a new challenge at Simply Magnolia whooo hooo and the theme is celebrate. I chose to use this fabulous new stamp by Magnolia called Tilda loves flowers from the Sweet Crazy Love collection. I colored her in using my Copic markers and got a bit carried away with her bouquet of flowers. I added a little purple and green and before I knew it her bouquet grew LOL. The sentiment is by Lili of the Valley so sweet and so appropriate I thought for this challenge. The circular flowers, flourishes and doily die cuts are from Marianne Design. The tag, paper which you can't see much of and purple flower are by Magnolia. I attached a cute little princess crown to the seam binding ribbon.

Hello my lovely friends! I hope all is well and that every one is able to get all their shopping done. Today, for me was a totally Bonnie day, filled with only creativity and relaxation. Like I have time to do that. But sometimes it's for the best in order to stay sane.

So I was finally able to use this adorable Magnolia stamp which has been waiting very patiently to get inked up. She was a lot of fun to color in, look at all those glorious packages? I used Copic markers and highlighted with a little Liquid Pearls. The paper is by Magnolia which is so beautifully bright and vibrant, I just love it. I used craft paper for the border, tag and star, inking the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I used Adirondack snow cap dabber and Snow writer for texture. The border die is by Magnolia and the flourishes, flowers, leaves and doily are by Marianne Designs. I attached a metal star and some sweet little crystals to my hand dyed seam binding ribbon. The Yuletide charm is by Tim Holtz, they are so cute. For the flourishes and the red berries I added Glossy accents and dipped into Diamond Dust and immediately loved how the berries turned out.

Tilda Ringing in the New Year!

Good Morning and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was making chocolates for the baskets. I made all kinds of yummy-licious treats for the sweet tooth. Sean brought a platter to work today and he says usually that thing is gone within ah hour, in the morning!!!!! Ewwww...

Here I have created a New Year card and now looking at it wish that I put the 2012 in there somewhere. I'll probably end up adding that to be fitting. And I also realized the clock is up side down. Hee hee that shows ya you shouldn't try and multi task by gluing a card together while waiting for your chocolate to cool. Ha!

So anyway I used some pretty colored Bazzill paper which I stamped a beautiful musical note motif and used evergreen bough Distress ink over the top, Vintage photo on the edges after distressing them and finally finishing with platinum Stickles. I colored Tilda in with Distress ink in Pumice stone and black soot for the pants and evergreen bough for her shirt and highlighted with Liquid Pearls. The designer paper is by Kaiser Craft. The clock die cut is of course by Tim holtz, the tag die cut is by Magnolia and the flourishes and flowers are die cuts by Marianne Creatables. On the flourishes I spritzed with Perfect Pearls. On the flowers I highlighted with evergreen bough and spritzed with Perfect Pearls heirloom gold. The cute little sentiment frame is by Melissa Frances. The pretty twine is by We R Memory Keepers. I hand dyed the seam binding with evergreen bough distress ink and Perfect pearls and added a hand made stick pin topped with a button from my stash. On the tag the little trinket pin is by Tim holtz as well as the pearl, as for the hanging teal charm I made that.

Winter Wonderland

Hello my lovely friends. Here we are just a week before Christmas and I'm really starting to panic. I still have so much to do but I made some time to create this card using Wee Stamps called Heidi. One of my sweetest friends gave me this little precious plum. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed inking her up. I used Magnolia paper. Flowers are all handmade using the same coordinating paper. I have some lovely lace found in my stash. I assembled a handmade stick pin with an adorable heart charm that dangles. I used die's by Magnolia, Spellbinders, and Marianne's Creatables. The gorgeous filigree silver corner embellie is from Wild Orchids.

Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas tag #10

Here is my version of Tim's 10th tag

Again I used a K&Co premade chipboard tag which I stamped using a stamp from Inkadinkado called A Visit From Santa using Archival ink. I inked over my image with peeled paint, vintage photo and aged mahogany Distress ink. Then spritzed it with interference red Perfect Pearls and gold Glimmer Mist. I used a sweet little snowflake stamp randomly on my tag, dabbing it in embossing ink and I used clear embossing powder. Flowers and leaves are a die cut from Marianne's Creatables they are soooo cute! I inked the edges with vintage photo before I rolled and glued them. For the metal snowflake which is my Tim Holtz I used green earth tones and butterscotch alcohol ink for some color. I painted the sentiment Believe with metallic gold, sponged it with vintage photo then spritzed it with water. I attached some hand dyed seam binding, lace and cheese cloth. The little fragment charm is from my stash given to me by my very good friend. I could not find my foil paper so I couldn't do it exactly like Tim's but it's still sweet. I really have to clean my room.

Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas tag #12

Hello my friends. I hope your enjoying your week so far. Mine has been busy as usual. Today I got my Cortisone shot in my shoulder and I'm a bit sore but was assured it would help my tendinitis. Apparently I had two things going on. Not only the tendinitis but I also had a calcium build up in my arm which is what caused the severe pain. OMG who would have figured. The pain was actually the calcium dispersing it back into the body. I was told it's quite common to have a calcium build up and that it just decided to settle in my arm right next to my tendinitis. The calcium is long gone, thank gosh but I do have a lump which is just fluid. Also caused by the two conditions meeting in the 3 muscles that meet in my shoulder. Doc said that should also go away on it's own. Phew check I can cross that right off my list. I have the full AOK to resume all normal activity. Yeah!!!!

So I'd like to show you one of the tags that I made following the Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas tags. This is my take on the 12th tag.

For my tag I used a K&Co premade tag. I stamped it with a Recollections stamp called Capturing Special Memories, using Archival ink. I took some of my pretty gold and white tissue paper and used Glue n' Seal to adhere it to my tag and when it was dried completely I then sponged it with embossing ink and sprinkled Glamour Dust. Again waiting until it dried completely I inked the edges with vintage photo Distress ink and used my snow cap dabber paint here and there. (I'm sorry you can't see the detail of the tag because of the glitter is putting too much of a shine to it). I really couldn't get a good pic. Ok so then I cut out the sentiment "Wish" using my Cricut, 2 sets. Painting one with my black dabber and the other one I used metallic gold folk art acrylic paint. When it was try I inked over the gold with my vintage photo and spritzed it with water giving it a real rustic look. I then glued the gold letters on top of the black off setting them a bit. Again I really wish you could see the detail. I used some cheese cloth and hand dyed seam binding ribbon and attached some Tim Holtz baubles and a Christmas token using a trinket pin. For the heart I used aged mahogany Distress ink and covered it with picket fence Distress crackle paint. When it was completely dry I inked the edges with vintage photo also adding Glamour Dust and finishing it with my snow cap dabber. I added some cheese cloth, a handmade stick pin, some metal charms from my stash and a cute little dove. The flourish is by Make it Crafty which I painted with the metallic gold. Grrr i just wish the blasted pictures came out better!

So there you have it.

Angel Tea light candle gift box

Good Morning my lovelies. I hope every one's weekend was delightful. I worked on a few tags following the Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas. I had so much fun making them, at the moment they are still kind of drying and setting but I'll be sure to post some pics.

I made this darling tea light candle gift box a while ago but really wanted to share the results with you. I used 3-D die cuts and added some liquid pearls for the snow and tiny Christmas balls on the tree. Flowers are by Wild Orchids. The snowflakes are cut from a Martha Stewart punch and I added lots of glitter. All of the edges are inked and stickled. These are so much fun to create and make such a wonderful gift for the candle lover.

Good morning my lovelies. Boy has it been raining likes cats and dogs for two days now. Today I waited all day for the rain to let up so I could go out and get some shopping done and have my hair trimmed. But Noooo it never did so I went out anyway. I didn't look adorable when i got home with my new hair do, I looked like a drown rat. Good grief! The upside was the mall was empty, seems I was one of the crazy ones that ventured out. I got my hair done and purchased a few gifts so I'm happy.

So anyhoo today's card features an adorable image by Lili of the Valley which I colored in using Distress inks. It's been a while since I've used them so I'm still trying to get the hang of it again. The gorgeous paper is by Magnolia and oh oh do you see my new snowflake die that I just bought from Die's to die for? OMG isn't it so cute!!! I saw it on Bev's blog and knew I had to get one too. Also notice the adorable little birdie perched in among the flowers? I just love these little birdies which I buy at Michael's. The Merry Christmas sentiment is by K&Co.

Good Morning everyone! Just a quick post for me today.

I created this card using a Whiff of Joy image called Melida Christmas Angel. I colored her in using my Copic Markers and I must confess I'm not thrilled with the results. It's just not what I envisioned. I wanted the gold to be more gold but it turned out too yellow. So I had to off set it and stick a few yellow flowers. The Flowers and gold metal corner is by Wild Orchids. The beautiful sentiment is by Lili of the Valley. The adorable die cut tree's, heart flourish and tag are by Magnolia. The strand of pearls are from my stash. I have two hand crafted stick pins tucked behind the flowers. I used lots of Liquid pearls though out the card.

Christmas is on the way

Hello my dear friends! I hope every one's weekend was wonderful. Mine was very very busy. On Saturday Santa was in town so we were able to have breakfast with him and the misses. The kids decorated cookies, created gorgeous tree ornaments and danced with some crazy fun elves. Yesterday Sean and I were trimming the house while watching the movie "Scrooge" the one with Albert Finney. That's our favorite one. Today I lost my mojo for crafting so I'm not really into creating at the moment as the holiday spirit has captured my heart. So it's back to decking out the halls and maybe doing a little on-line Christmas shopping for me today and later on tonight I'm setting up my Christmas village.

I do have a card to share that I made last week using another one of Magnolia's newest Christmas stamps. I colored her in using my Copic markers in shades of blue's and purple's. Flowers are by Wild Orchids. I distressed some chipboard corners and swirl with Crackle paint. The snowflake punch is by Martha Stewart and the fancy heart border die is by Magnolia.

I'm a little freaked out each and every day. Because it's that much closer to Christmas. Have I started decorating? No! Have I started shopping? No! I'm thinking perhaps I'll be doing both this weekend. I've been putting off decorated because Buddy has to wear a cone on his head to help stop him from aggravating a boo boo on his leg. So I'm real scared if I put up my tree he's going to take it out with his big cone head. Omg he's so funny looking, my poor baby, but it's almost healed.

Today's card features this adorable image from Belles n' Whistles. I'm entering it into their challenge this week and hopefully it will be ok for a Christmas theme. I don't have any Christmas Bn'W stamps but I thought this would be ok, hopefully. I inked it up using my Copic markers and added snow everywhere. Check out my new tree's aren't they awesome? I just got them in as well as the beautiful tag which I've wanted FOREVER!! Both are from Magnolia. There is also a flourish behind the flowers which is also new it's by Memory Box, so pretty. Flowers are all by Wild Orchids. I added a sweet little snowflake charm I got off Ebay. The tag has two charms which I hand crafted trying to make them look like Christmas ornaments. There is a circular doily under there a heart doily as well as cheese cloth. I went a little nuts with the layers.

Good Morning my lovelies! Half way through the week already and OMG the very last day of November. I can't believe it I really really can't believe it. Has everyone started their Christmas shopping? Not me I tend to be a last minute shopper as I've discovered over the years if I start early I go WAY overboard when buying. I do have to purchase a stocking for my new doggie Buddy to be filled with a treasure of goodies. My last dog used to open his own gifts let's see if Buddy can also figure out if you rip the paper to shreds you'll find something fun or yummy.

Today's card feature yet another Tilda from Magnolia's newest collection. I stuck with the traditional Christmas colors and inked Maggie up with Copic markers. The paper again is scraps from years gone buy I'm so proud to be using them up. The gorgeous flowers are by Wild Orchids as well as the red berries, they are so pretty. The twine that holds the cute little jingle bells I had picked up from a yard sale, still recycling here. The Italian Doily Die is by Cherry Lynn that I purchased from Die's to Die for. And OMG last week I put in another order and went a little over board buying up some Christmas die's. I can't wait to get them in and start using them. I'll show you my over haul once they come in. The Nestability die is of course by Spellbinders that I picked up at Michael's using a 50% coupon. The resin applique is by Melissa Frances. And lastly I've added two handmade stick pins to complete the flower bouquets.

Hello my friends I hope all is well.

I created today's card using one of Magnolia's newest stamps. I just love the new Maggies with their long hair. I used this fun paper which was scraps really, saved from something I made and had left overs. I always feel good about using my scraps. I colored Tilda in using my Copic Markers. The snowflakes were created using a Martha Stewart punch. The lovely flowers are by Wild Orchids and the beautiful sentiment is by Lili of the Valley. I also of course added a hand made stick pin with an adorable Christmas bulb charm that I've had forever!

I hope you like it and gives you some inspiration.

Hello my friends! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was filled with tons of love and laughter. Me and my flock had a fabulous Thanksgiving gathering with tons of food to eat and much to be thankful for. We also got some absolutely fabulous news that my daughter Jenn and her hubby Rick are pregnant again. OMG I couldn't be more happier for them. A fourth grandchild on the way to be loved, cherished and of course spoiled. lol

I made a tea light holder card book that features this adorable Tilda skating. One of my childhood dreams was to be a wonderful figure skater. Nope it never happened I couldn't skate at all. sigh... So anyway I colored Tilda in with my Copic markers and added Stickles glitter to her dress and head band. The white on her hand and ear muffs as well as the tops of her skates are Fun Flock. I added flowers from Wild Orchids which I also hit with the Stickles and tucked a handmade crystal stick pin. The sweet little glittered Dove and snowflake are by Recollections. I tucked another handmade angel wings and pearl stick pin behind the pink flower. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the snowflakes and enhanced with ink and more Stickles. The beautiful snowflake designer paper is by K & Co.

Good Morning my friends. Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving? I have to say this year that I am most thankful for my new doggie Buddy. OMG he has brought me so much joy and laughter. sigh..

Today's card features an adorable image by Lili of the Valley that I have been dying to ink up. I used my Copic markers to color it in although I messed up and colored a little bit outside the lines I'm happy how it turned out. The pretty paper is by Daisy D that I've had FOREVER, hanging head in shame.

I used Martha Stewart and Magnolia die's and punches. The beautiful sentiment is by Lili of the Valley. I tucked two handmade stick pins and also added a cute little Santa bauble that I also made.

For those of you that celebrate Thanksgiving please have a beautiful day be safe and eat like a pig!

I'm finally back to coloring

Hello my friends. Yeah it's me!!!! I decided it was time to try coloring again. I haven't gotten the ok from the Dr yet but the tendinitis in my arm is so much better. Oh I was in heaven using my Copic to color in this amazingly adorable image by Wee Stamps. I've seen so many super sweet gift bags that artists are creating so I decided to give it a try. And I really enjoyed making this one. The beautiful sentiment is by Lili Of The Valley. I used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch on the flap. Flowers are by Wild Orchids and I tucked a handmade stickpin within the flowers.

I hope that you've enjoyed today's creation and hope that you will visit again!

Hello my lovelies so sorry for being such a sporadic blogger. My tendinitis in my arms seems to have gotten worse. I ended up in the ER over the weekend and I'm scheduled to have an MRI this Friday. Hopefully I didn't do any permanent damage. So at this time and I'm not sure for how long but I'm not able to color. My arm needs to be in a sling for the time being. It's very frustrating!!! I have Sean taking pictures for me and listing my creations on Ebay. What a Man!!

I have been creating this album for quite some time now and most recently finished it. So I'd like to share with you and all my Twilight fans a love story that never ends. Please enjoy

I'd also like to announce to all of my friends that Sean and I are new parents to a very handsome boy named buddy. Here is our newest addition. He's a 2 year old Germain Shepard and Chow mix and the most loving dog ever. I must get a million kisses a day as well as hugs and he's by my side at all times. Yup hugs he literally wraps his paws around you and snuggles. OMG life just gets better and better!

Raining cats and dogs here and quite gloomy. However a perfect day to stay in your Jammie's and curl up on the couch with a good book. Which is what I'm going to do very soon.

Today's card features the absolutely adorable Lili of the Valley stamp called "Shine a Light". I colored her in using Copic markers. Flowers are by Wild Orchids and Recollections. The gold metal corner is also from Wild Orchids. I have a sweet little old St Nick handmade pebble peeking from beneath the seam binding. I tucked a handmade stick pin behind the seam binding and added little jingle bells to a safety pin and attached it to the ribbon. The awesome cool frame is a die cut from Spellbinders, I love it!

Good morning! Today I'd like to share with you a card that I created while following Suzanne Dean's tutorial. She is a fabulous artist and teacher. I was fortunate enough to have taken two of her classes last year and look forward to doing so again in the future. Here is where you can find her tutorial on coloring folds for this adorable image called "Silver Fairy" by Wee Stamps. I think she is the cutest little fairy and a must have for all you fairy lovers. When I took Suzannes class she had a list of Copic markers to bring along to work with and the green's used in coloring this stamp were on the list. Shhhh... don't tell Suzanne but I have never used them, I know sinful. Anyway when I came across her tutorial and gathered the markers she used I said to myself, no way these are just not my colors.

Anyway I tried them and yup they are now my new favs!

These are the Copics used YG97, YG95, YG93 AND YG91.

The designer paper I used are by Die Cuts with a View. Flowers by Wild Orchids and Recollections. The Adore ticket sentiment is by Tim Holtz. Pearl flourish is by Prima and I tucked a cute little pearl stick pin behind the hand dyed seam binding and topped it with a handmade fairy pebble.

Good Morning my lovelies I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. We were blessed with two days of wonderful Autumn weather. I cruised a few estate sales and found some beautiful lace and vintage buttons, I can't wait to use them on future creations. Sunday was spend with the family we had a lovely brunch and played with the kids outside. Those are the days to be truly treasured.

So it's once again time for another challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and this weeks theme is free and easy!

I chose to use this adorable image which I originally thought to use as a Halloween card. But thought it would be just as cute to use as a Birthday themed card as well. I colored this little cutie in using my Copic markers. I used Spellbinder Die cuts and the flourish die cuts are by Magnolia. The black roses are from Wild Orchids.

Hello my lovelies. I hope you all had a wonderful and creative week. I've been having to baby my arm due to the tendinitis bursitis. But, I was able to create this whimsical layout hee hee no coloring so I was able to follow Dr's orders. I guess the repetitious motion when coloring for hours on end resulted in the diagnosis. I have to learn to take breaks and stretch my arm out more when coloring. Has this ever happened to any of you????
Lot's and Lot's of cutting was involved in creating this LO but I achieved the results that I was looking for. It's very hard to tell in the photo but I actually have three layers going on here. The second photo will give you a better view of the 3-D effect. And instead of using Pop Dots I used cardboard from the box that my Wild Orchids flowers came in.

Good morning everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful week. We are back from our annual holiday weekend to the horse ranch. Unfortunately I was not able to ride. I developed tendinitis bursitis in my right arm, perhaps from too much coloring? Nah... Regardless, we had the best time ever, the kids enjoyed themselves, so much that they didn't want to leave. We kept them busy continuously. Caila's riding lessons are coming along wonderfully. Ricky the cutest little cowboy is doing fabulously on his rides.

Today's card features this absolutely gorgeous witch from Crafts and Me called Priscilla. I first saw her on Dana's blog and immediately fell in love. Dana colored her in beautifully using these shades of colors. Thank you Dana for your continued inspiration!!!!

I colored her in using Copic markers. Flowers are by Prima, Wild Orchids and Pataloo. The cute little spider I found in a dollar store. Good Morning! I hope all my bloggin buddies are doing great! Me I'm busy as usual but in a good way.

So today's card features the lovely Willow with Lantern that I just purchased from Whiff of Joy. I looove her. I colored her in using Copic markers (many layers). Flowers are by Prima and Wild Orchids. The metal tear drop with the Noel sentiment I found in the jewelry department at Michael's and just added the sentiment behind it and little jingle bells. The Heart Swirl is by Magnolia. This is my very first tea light box card. I had to make the box that holds the tea lights 3 times before I got it right. My husband says, "we'll you should be an expert now". No No that's not what I wanted to hear I needed sympathy. Whaaaa Men!!!!

Lili Of the Valley A Time to be Merry!

Good Morning everyone. I hope you are all having a fantastic week so far. Yesterday we went to the Big Exposition fair. What a glorious day of filling our faces with fair food and taking the kids on the rides. We visited all the animals and watched a wonderful magic show. I was exhausted when I got home I had to take a nap. heehee

My card today features one of my newest stamps from Lili Of The Valley she is call Festive Fairy. She is from their newest collection. I colored her in using my Copic markers and used Stickles on her wings. The mat is by Spellbinders as well as the fancy mat behind the sentiment. I had so color my flowers by hand because I had no turquoise ones on hand. I used Distress ink and coated them with Crackle Accents. I also included a hand made stick pin using turquoise crystals.

Good Morning all! I hope everyone had a wonderful relaxing or creative weekend. We had lots of family time this weekend. Jenn, Rick and the kids came over on Saturday and we had a good ol time. Caila who is 5 has learned how to ride her bike without her training wheels. Omg she's so damn cute. Good times!

It's time for another fun challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and this weeks theme is make your own embellishments! I chose to use this gorgeous Fairy which can be found HERE. And I've been wanting to color her up for ages now but if you know Whoopsi Daisy images it's always a very hard choice, so many fabulous images to choose from.

I colored her in using Copic markers using the merging technique of bringing two different colors together. The mat frame is by Spellbinders, the heart flourish die is by Magnolia, flowers by Wild Orchids and Recollections. The butterfly I believe is also by Recollections if not it's Prima. For my make your own embellishment I made a handmade stick pin, pebble and hand dyed seam binding.

I have another Halloween card that I created using a Tickled Pink image that I won on a challenge. She is called Vampire Lilith. I colored her in using my Copic markers. The felt scroll in the back is by Recollections. Flowers are by Wild Orchids and I tucked a handmade pebble and stick pins amongst them. The skull charm and kitty are from my old stash. The fence with bats is by Martha Stewart. And the metal frames I got at Michael's Crafts in the jewelry isle. They are made by Bead Landing and called Bezels, Frames & Filigree. I thought they were pretty cool and I've used them before and swiped some white acrylic paint on them.

Good Morning and Happy Monday!

This weeks challenge at Whoopsi Daisy is Shabby Chic. I chose to use this absolutely adorable image from sheet #291 which can be found HERE. I just fell in love with her gorgeous hat and coat. I want one just like it. Heehee! Anyway I colored her using Copic Markers and for the white on her hat, coat and boots I used Liquid Applique. Flowers are by Recollections and Wild Orchids. I added some 3-D snowflakes that I had in my stash. The rhinestone bling is also by Recollections. Notice the cute little birdie in the larger flower? I hand dyed the seam binding and added a handmade stick pin.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Boy did it turn cold quick here and I am loving it. Beautiful Autumn day we are experiencing today and it's supposed to dip into the high 30's tonight. Ahhh heaven to me.

It it time once again for another challenge at Simply Magnolia and this weeks theme is shabby chic.

I chose to use Tilda Meets Mid Summer from the Sweet Rainbow Collection. I colored her in using Distress ink. Can't really see the paper so that doesn't really matter now does it? ha! Flowers by Wild Orchids, Pataloo and Recollections. I used some leave lace I picked up at a local store and the ribbon is from my stash. I added some pearls randomly and a handmade stick pin. And distressed with white acrylic paint.

Good Morning everyone. Thank you all so very much for your well wishes. I am feeling a bit better. I can't say the same about blogger as I'm still having issues with leaving comments. So please please be patient with me a while longer while I work out my blogger issues. Oh I can't tell you how frustrating it is.

Anyway onto the good stuff. We have a wonderfully gorgeous sketch challenge going on at CLP monthly sketch challenge. Hold on though cause it gets even better. We have also collaborated with the designers from Lili of the Valley challenge. How awesome is that? It's an honor with great pleasure. And guess who our sponsor is this month???? I was able to squeak this Tri Fold card out for this weeks Whoopsi Daisy challenge and the theme is yup you guessed it more than one fold! Boo! Not so Scary Witch Tickled Pink

Hello my lovelies! I hope your week is going good thus far.

Today I'd like to share with you a card I made using a Tickled Pink digi image that I won a while back. She is called Lil Haunts Witch Lylah. Isn't she so cool? I colored her in using my Copic markers. Papers are by K& Co., new I think this year but are similar to last years. I used 3 punches by Martha Stewart. The Iron fence with the bats, awesome right? Punch around the page spider web and the deep edger spider web punch. I used purple lace from my stash and sprinkled some seed beads and Martha Stewart glass beads. Flowers are by Prima and Wild Orchids. I hand dyed the crinkle ribbon. I tucked a handmade stick pin behind the flowers and added a handmade kitty bauble pebble to the ribbon. This was so much fun to make I just love Halloween crafting.

Good Morning! Gosh Wednesday already. I know short week for some of us so it really seems like it's flying by. I hope you are all well.

Today I'd like to share with you a Shabby Chic chipboard album that I created. Oh so much fun I had putting it all together. I usually always start with the first page and it always seems to take the longest to complete. I totally filled it with all kinds of goodies. The gorgeous paper is by Melissa Francis called 5th Avenue which I purchased a long time ago. So this project has been brewing for quite some time.

Simply Magnolia anything goes!!

Hello again! This is my 2nd post of the day. Geez I go from one post a week to 2 posts in one day. Feast or famish as they say!!!

This week at Simply Magnolia challenge the theme is anything goes. I chose to use Strawberry Yummy Tilda which I've been dying to ink up. I colored her in using Copic markers. Flowers by Recollections, Prima and Wild Orchids. The large doily stamp is by Marianne Creatables, they are so beautifully detailed. I added a couple of cute little strawberry buttons and handmade ribbon. I'm not sure the name of this card making technique but it's accordion in the middle and I made a pocket on the back side for 2 removable tags.

Hello everyone I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. I've been desperately clinging to what seems like the last few weeks left of summer. But knowing Autumn will be upon us soons gives me great happiness as I just love the lovely days and cool nights that it brings. Yesterday I was blessed in seeing 2 Humming birds one of which was within inches of my hand. I was in total Awww and struck speechless. I didn't even realise the moment had taken my breath away. sigh...

Today we enjoyed a lovely and lively picnic with the family. Always sad to see it come to an end. We also helped my daughter Jenn and her wonderful husband Rick celebrate their 7th year wedding anniversary. Oh they are just the sweetest and most loving couple I know besides Sean and I.

It's time for another challenge at Whoopsi Daisy and this weeks theme is Lets Bling it. I chose to use this stunning image of a beautiful angel which can be found HERE. I think that she is absolutely breath taking with her long flowing gown and tumbling hair. I colored her using my Copic Markers in soft delicate pinks. Silk flowers are from my stash which I enhanced with Stickles and Flower Soft.

Simply Magnolia Love is in the Air

Hurricane Irene is almost upon us so please pray for our safety and that the damages are minimal.

Once again it's another new challenge at Simply Magnolia and this weeks theme is Love is in the air. There are so many Magnolia stamps that are perfect for this theme and I chose Tilda with Peony from the wedding collection. For some reason this Tilda reminds me of the animated movie Beauty and the Beast. The Peony reminds me of Bells magic rose under the glass. I colored Tilda in with Copic markers. The paper is from DCWV. Roses are from Wild Orchids. The butterfly's are from a Martha Stewart punch which I glittered. The heart stamp is also by Magnolia as well as the Heart Swirl die cut.

Good Morning my lovelies! While I was away this past weekend I of course brought along some crafting supplies. Hmmm..not sure if that's bad or good. Nah it's all good. So anyway I colored in a few of my favorite Christmas holiday Maggies. I couldn't decide on which to use on my card so I decided to use them all. I chose to make an accordion card to feature all three Tilda's. I colored my darling Maggies in with Distress inks and added glitter and liquid pearls. I used a Recollections punch for the top border wishing I had a holiday one. The designer papers are by K&Co, I think from a few years back. Flowers are by Recollection and Pataloo.

Hello my dear friends. I hope every one had a beautiful weekend. My trip to the Women's herbal conference retreat was so awesome. We learned so much about plants and herbs and wonderful ways of uses them. Such beautiful and empowering women I was so honored to be among them. We danced and sang and just had a wonderful time. I even learned how to hula hoop. OMG What a blast. These little girls were going it and I said shit if they can do it so can I AND I DID!!!!! So even the younger girls were such an inspiration to me.

Well here we are Monday again and that means another challenge at Whoopsi Daisy. And this weeks challenge is Summer Fun and what a better way to spend a summer day is in the garden. I chose to used two different images. This beautiful arbor can be found HERE on sheet #290 which has 5 beautiful images. The little girls can be found HERE on sheet #261. I colored both images in using Copic markers. The butterfly's are from a Martha Stewart punch. This beautiful sentiment is by Darcie's.

Sugar Nellie Christmas Angel Wishes

Hello to all my dear friends. I hope you all had a fabulous week. Mine was a bit soggy but we really needed the rain.

I'm off for the weekend for our annual getaway to New Hampshire. Jenn and I are going to a Women's Herbal Conference. It's so much fun, such a lovely place spending time with other women who love the outdoor life. We stay in cabins, attend classes on herbs and plants and ways to use them in food and their medicinal uses. There will be hikes and music, singing and dancing. Pretty much a celebration of life and re-discovering what Mother Earth has to offer us. It's taking time to stop and smell the roses.

Now on to today's card. Oh gosh I've had this image for such a long time and have never used it. It's my Sugar Nellie called Angel Wishes, isn't she so beautiful? I colored her in with Copic Markers. DP from K&Co called Yuletide. I used a lovely doily die but can't remember who makes it could possibly be Marianne??? Flowers are by Wild Orchids. I used Magnolia's Doohicky heart swirl. Finally enhanced with Flower Soft and Stickles. Notice the cute little Cardinal birdie perched on top of the flowers?

Whoopsi Daisy Anything Go's!!!!

Good Morning! I hope all is well with all my sweet friends.

The Whoopsi Daisy girls and back from vacation and ready for a new challenge. This weeks theme is Anything Go's ahhhh.. nice and easy.

For my DT card I chose to make a scene using two different images. The sweet little darling carting her wheel barrel of flowers is from sheet #262 and can be found HERE. The gorgeous fence with the trailing flowers is from sheet #289 and can be found HERE.

I colored my images using Copic markers and added a bouquet of lovely flowers from Wild Orchids. The sentiment is from Darcie's.

Belles n' Whistles Guest Designer

Good Morning my lovelies. Wow what a fantastic vacation. I spent the week with my eldest grandson Ricky. Every year Sean and I send him to horse camp where he spends 5 hours a day at a local horse ranch learning everything about horses. Afterwards we spent time together swimming, biking, playing games,watching movies and just goofing around together. We had a ball. On Friday night I was so sad to see him go. So now it's bad to work for me. It's a bitter sweet feeling if you know what I mean. On Saturday Sean took me to New York City to the Bronx Zoo for the day. OMG I was in my glory with all those gorgeous animals. I wanted to stick a couple of the Lemar monkeys in my back pack. lol Oh and the gorilla's were so handsome they were my favorite as it was my first time seeing them in person. It was a glorious day all around.

So on to today's card. I am so excited and thrilled to share with you my guest designer card created for the Belles n' Whistles challenge and the theme is Anything Goes. I chose to use Pen Friend and colored her using my Copic markers. I know it's been a while since I've used them. I kind of missed them and decided to bring them out again. Flowers are by Prima. The green gems and the dragonfly are by Recollections. I tucked a handmade Lampwork stickpin behind the larger flower bloom and added a handmade bauble/pebbles to the center.

Hello all! Gosh I feel so badly that I've not been a very good blogging friend. Seems as though I've been sick off and on for a few weeks. Finally I found out that it's not the flu but a blockage in the intestine. Good grief is that all I thought I was dying. heehee The worst part is I can't eat any solid foods OMG I'm going to wither away. Not fair!!!! No steak EEEEK I'm going through with drawls already. And that's one of the biggest problems is all that red meat that I love. Well it's broth soup, jello and Gatorade for a few days. So enough rambling about my woes and onto the important stuff...

This weeks challenge at Simply Magnolia is a sketch challenge. Unfortunately I didn't follow the sketch oopsi so sorry. And the sketch is so much prettier than my layout too, what the heck was I thinking???

I used Ballerina Tilda and colored her in using Distress Inks. Flowers are by Wild Orchids and the resin flowers are from my stash. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the smaller and larger butterfly's. I tucked a handmade stick pin behind the ribbon and flower. I used the romantic lace Doohicky by Magnolia which I kind of covered up, but you can see a few hearts peeking out. And I finished it off by scattering pearls here and there.

Good Morning my lovelies! I hope your weekend was wonderful. I of course hung out by the pool with the family and enjoyed the time with my grand kids. They make me laugh til I have tears especially my granddaughter Caila, man she is a pistol!

I am so very excited to share my card with you today which was made for my guest design spot with Belles n' Whistles. The theme is... Oh so Girly. I used one of my most treasured Belles n' Whistles stamps called Tea Time. I colored her in using Distress Inks. Her frame is made with a Spellbinders die and enhanced with Flower Soft. Flowers by Prima and Wild Orchids. I added a handmade stick pin and 2 handmade baubles. I distressed the chipboard heart with white acrylic paint, crackle paint and dabbed with Distress ink. I'd like to share with you this card that I put together using Sarah Kay die cuts. This is totally cheating because there is no coloring involved. They are already colored in and all you have to do is punch the images out use the tiny pop dots to layer them for a 3-D effect and your done.

I can't quite get a grip on the reality of the devastation that happened to the people of Norway. I am so deeply saddened by such a tragic and vicious act of violence. My heart hurts deeply and I can't seems to control the tears that are shed. I will light a candle and my family will be holding a moment of silence in honor of the lives lost. I am reaching out to all of Norway with open arms and embracing you with all of my love. My prayers and sympathy sent from the USA

I chose to use Tilda with Hawaii flower and colored her in using my Distress Inks. The frame is made with Spellbinders Die. I added flowers by Prima, Pataloo and Wild Orchids. I distress the metal key with Crackle paint and acrylic paint.

Magnolia Sunshine of Life

Good Morning my lovelies! I hope you are all doing well. No complaints here, accept for this wicked heat wave that we are all having.

Today I thought I'd show you my entire easel card inside and out as well as the gift box.

I colored Tilda in with my Distress inks. For her frame I used the Spellbinder heart circle frame. And don't ya know it they came out with a butterfly circle frame. It's now on my wish list. LOL

The paper is by Memory Box and it's called Butterfly Ballet. The flowers are by Prima and Wild Orchids. The sparkly butterflies were made with a Martha Stewart punch. I distressed the heart chipboard by painting it with white acrylic paint and laid a coat of Crackle and when it dried I sponged it with Distress Ink. The flourishes which are my newest most favorite die is by non other than Magnolia!!! The glass butterfly baubles and stick pin are all handmade.

Good Morning everyone! I am so glad this week is over! My daughter and her family went camping this week and I miss them terribly! We usually go with them but we are not huge fans of where they stayed. They have no electricity and on such hot and humid days like we've been having I need my air conditioner running in my camper. I know that's totally cheating as far as camping goes but I'm spoiled. We've spent years camping in the sweltering head and torrential down pours so we decided to seek the comforts of a pop up camper. Ahhh that's the life! So all of my babies are home and I can't wait to squeeze them breathless.

So on to today's card. Yup it's another Christmas one. I won this super cute Belles n Whistles stamp last year for a challenge that I entered and never got a chance to ink it up. I decided to color these little darlings using my Distress Inks. Flowers and leafs are by Pataloo and Wild Orchids. I perched a little birdie amongst the flowers and also added two handmade stickpins.

Good Morning. Geez it's been forever since I've posted. Seems I've been so busy creating but finishing Nothing! I start on one thing and hop to another. It's like you get an idea and you have to fly with it before it's gone. So that's what I've been doing is experimenting with different things. And today's card has one of those experiments.

Today's DT card was created for Crafting Life's Pieces monthly sketch challenge using another one of Chelsea's magnificent sketches. My card features Little Mermaid Tilda. Oh I just LOVE her!!!! And I truly love how she turned out. I colored her in using Copic Markers and enhanced with Star Dust. As I did with everything else that glitters and sparkles. The sea shells I purchased at Michael's and used a technique I learned from my lovely friend Carol Chocolate, Crafts, And Bears, Oh My . She did this fantastic tutorial mixing together water with Folk Art acrylic paint in a mini mister and spritzed her die cuts. Ooh-La-La Well I tried the same technique on the sea shells and pearls and they came out beautifully. Flowers are by Prima and the ocean stickers are from Jolee's. I added some glass beads and bling to symbolize bubbles. So fun!

Whoopsi Daisy Pretty In Pink

Good morning all my wonderful friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Seems like summer is in full swing here. This weekend we had a continued pool party that lasted pretty much all weekend. The kids were over on Saturday and we had a ball in the pool. My grand kids are just loving it. We had to coax Ricky out with food and a video. We enjoyed a cookout on the deck and spent a wonderful day together. Those are the days you remember for a life time.

Today's Whoopsi Daisy DT card I used one of Linnie's newly realised digi Fairies which can be found HERE. Isn't she just gorgeous? I love her long flowing hair. I colored her using Copic markers in different shades of pink. If you haven't guessed this weeks theme at Whoopsi Daisy it's 'we love pink'. I used all kinds of fun things on my card. First I used Tim Holtz flower ribbon and added some pearls to the center and placed some pink fabric flowers and leaves. Notice the cute little pink glass beads by Martha Stewart. The larger flowers are by Prima and the others by Wild Orchids. I added a handmade stick pin to the flower cluster. It's very hard to tell but I added H2o Twinkling to the white frame which was created with a Spellbinder die.

I created my card using 'Congratulations' Tilda and colored her in using Distress Inks. Flowers are by Prima and Wild Orchids. I used Magnolia Romantic Lace, Heart Swirl and Romantic tag Doohickey. I tucked two handmade stickpins behind the large pink flower and perched an adorable birdie.

Hi ya sweeties. It's Thursday which means another new digi release at McMahon Five Designs. I used this beautiful digi called Midsummer Mermaid. Wow I just fell in love with her. I used my Copic markers to color her in and enhanced the background with H2o Twinkling. The chipboard swirls I painted with white acrylic paint, used my mini misters altering broken china and peeled paint Distress ink. Then went over it with the H2O Twinkling. The cute little sea horse and coral stickers are by Jolees. I embellished with some frosted flower buttons.

Well today's card features none other than my girl Tilda. I recently won $50 from Simon Says Stamp and used it to get the fence, the Doohickey Heart swirl and the Doohickey Romance lace. I just love em'. I colored Tilda and the fence with Distress inks and it's very hard to tell but I added H2O Twinkling to the background. The flowers are by Petaloo velvet Hydrangeas in sage and they are so so pretty. I distressed all the edges with the Tim Holz distress tool, inked with Vintage Photo and added gold Stickles. The pearls are by Recollection and I added a beautiful handmade stick pin which I tucked behind the flowers.

Here is a close up so you can see the H2o Twinkling BUT.... I also noticed a smudge from the Distress ink and her cheek highlights also smudged. Ugg.. I'm gonna have to fix those mistakes. Good thing I got up close and personal.

It's Hot Hot Hot at Whoopsi Daisy

Happy Independence Day! I hope what ever you guys do today is wonderful.

It's time for another Whoopsi Daisy challenge and the theme this week is Hot Hot Hot. I fell in love with this darling image and new she would be perfect for my Hot Hot Hot themed 4th of July card. I love her little swim suite and 'whoopsi daisy' she lost her ice cream cone. heehee How adorable right? You can find this little doll HERE sheet #223 and comes with 3 other adorable digi stamps. I colored her in using my Copic markers and enjoyed using the bright bold colors. Flowers are by Wild Orchids which I tucked behind a sweet little handmade stick pin with Patriotic colors. The pearls are by Recollections. Omgosh and this paper in ancient I've had it for years it was tucked deep in my summer supplies and it's by Karen Foster. The fabric sentiment is by American Traditions.

Hanglar Noel Christmas card

Good Morning all! Short post here as it's 1:30 am and I'm pooped but I really wanted to get this card posted. I have a super busy weekend. So I decided to do another Christmas themed card using Hanglar. Isn't this stamp so cute. I've had it since last year and just never got the chance to ink it up. I once again used my Distress Inks to color these little darlings in. Flowers are by Wild Orchids. The strip of white pearls are by Recollections. The swirl pearls are Prima. The chipboard sentiment and hearts are by Heidi Grace and are as old as the hills. LOL I enhanced with Texture Magic paint, Glitter Snow, Ice white pearl pen and Gold Stickles.

Emerald Faeries Forever Friends

Hello and Happy Friday! I hope you all have fun plans for the holiday weekend. We are going to a picnic at my friends house on Sunday. She is a friend that I grew up with that I've known since I was 5 years old. She was my best friend and neighbor. We did everything together from the time we woke up until it was time for bed. So I am very very excited as I haven't seen her in over a year.

I'm also super excited to show you my newest card. I fell in love with these adorable whimsical faeries from Emerald Faeries. This little darling is called Ebony. Now you guys know how much I love Faeries so of course I couldn't wait to purchase one of them. She is a digi that I printed out on water color paper after 4 tries!!!! The paper kept getting stuck because it's so think. Grrrr... But I did it and I colored her in using my Distress Inks. I used Heavenly Twinkling H2O on the highlights and Ebony's wings. The flowers are by Wild Orchids, the sentiment is by Autumn Leaves. The cute little birdie I bought from Micheal's and the swirls is by Prima. I also added a cute Fairy charm and handmade stick pin and a fairy bauble that my girlfriend made for me. Hmmm I wonder how she knows I love Fairies! Thank you Stella you rock girl!

Good Morning! I hope your week has been fabulous thus far.

Funny story. You may not know this but my husband Sean and I are wicked pranksters. We've been tormenting our neighbors for years. I could get into some side splitting funny story's but I thought I'd share our latest. Our neighbor has a statue of an adorable squirrel. So our plan is to steal it for a year. Yup that's right a year. We are going to take it to as many places as we can and take pictures of it. At the beach, riding a horse, camping and so forth. We'll send the pics to our neighbors with a greetings message like "having a great time at the beach", "look mom my first ride on a horse" or "miss you but camping has been a real treat". Heehee they will NEVER know it's us. Shhh don't tell.

So anyway I created my card using one of Magnolia's newest stamps. She is so darn adorable, I just love her. I used my Distress Inks to color her in. Flowers by Prima. Sentiment is from Spellbinders. I have a couple of handmade stick pins and some metal embellishments from my stash. The purple swirl is by Recollections. Notice the cute little glass bottle with the glass beads, isn't it cute?
