Hustles and Bustles of the holiday Season

Good morning my lovelies. Boy has it been raining likes cats and dogs for two days now. Today I waited all day for the rain to let up so I could go out and get some shopping done and have my hair trimmed. But Noooo it never did so I went out anyway. I didn't look adorable when i got home with my new hair do, I looked like a drown rat. Good grief! The upside was the mall was empty, seems I was one of the crazy ones that ventured out. I got my hair done and purchased a few gifts so I'm happy.

So anyhoo today's card features an adorable image by Lili of the Valley which I colored in using Distress inks. It's been a while since I've used them so I'm still trying to get the hang of it again. The gorgeous paper is by Magnolia and oh oh do you see my new snowflake die that I just bought from Die's to die for? OMG isn't it so cute!!! I saw it on Bev's blog and knew I had to get one too. Also notice the adorable little birdie perched in among the flowers? I just love these little birdies which I buy at Michael's. The Merry Christmas sentiment is by K&Co.

I hope you've enjoyed today's card and that it's inspired you even a little. Thank so much for visiting me your comments warm my heart and puts a huge smile on my face.
Hugs and much Love Bonnie

Gorgeous card. Very nice die. Love the birdie. I have not purchased any yet, but have seen lots of projects with them. I will have to run out and get some before they are all gone. LOL.
Hope you have a dryer day today and the days to come.
I always say, why can't it rain all night and that way they days are dry for people to get their kids to school and get to work on time and accident free.

Love the card! The little girl is so cute with the fuzzy hat. I love the texture.
I wouldn't worry about the rained on do. I always come home and rewash and restyle my hair every time anyway! And isn't it nice to have the mall to yourself this time of year!
Thanks for the chuckle and sharing your pretty card! :)
