Cooling off Simply Magnolia DT card

Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful crafty week. Just a little update on my daughter Jenn and baby Annabelle. Annabelle had jaundice so they had to stay in the hospital for a few days longer they were sent home assured Annabelle would be fine. Well when she had her first week check up the jaundice was worse so they were readmitted to a more advanced hospital. They are still there but Annabelle's levels went from 21 down to 15 as of last night which is super. I am so sorry I've not been around in blog land lately and have slacked considerably on my DT responsibilities I've just been worries sick.

For this weeks challenge at Simply Magnolia the theme is pearls and lace. I chose to use this precious Tilda stamp from Magnolia's newest release she's called Waterlily Tilda. I colored her in using my Copic markers. The designer papers are by Pion and I'm starting to freak out because I've only got like 10 12X12 sheets left. I embellished with a pearls strand all around the card. Used flowers by Prima and Recollections and tucked beaded and pearl stamens in the flowers. The gorgeous lace I purchased from a store online and I added a hand assembled stick pin. The iridescent heart charm is from my stash.
I hope you will join us for this week challenge at Simply Magnolia
I look forward to seeing your creations

All That Has Wings Stempel-Magie GDT card

Good Morning my lovelies this is my 3rd post for today so please please scroll down to check out my others.

Just a little update on how my daughter Jenn and baby Annabelle are doing. Jenn is doing really really well and looks just as amazing. It's funny because right after she delivered Annabelle she looked radiant and you would never know she was in labor all day and had just delivered a baby. Annabelle developed jaundice so they are both still in the hospital. They have the glow blanket on Annabelle and are confident she will soon be on her way to recovering. She is so beautiful and get more so every day. Thank you so much everyone for all your words of congratulations. I really appreciate the love that you've shown me in my very happy and proud moment. I absolutely love being a Nana!!!

So on to today's Stempel-Magie GDT card. This weeks challenge is All that has wings.
So I chose to use this awesome new stamp from Magnolia, isn't she so stinking cute? I colored her in using my Copic markers and added some Liquid Pearls. The gorgeous butterfly paper is by Magnolia. Flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts and the gorgeous butterfly is by Prima. The lace and ribbon are from my stash and I hand assembled the darling little butterfly stick pin.

I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge
I look forward to seeing your creations.

Favorite Tilda Stamp Stempel-Magie GDT card

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well. Sorry I've not posted in a while or been visiting. As some of you know last week was Sean's Birthday and our 28th wedding Anniversary. Sean was home from work for the entire week and we spent a lot of time together which didn't leave me much time for crafting or blogging. I will be around to visit all my bloggin buddies to see what you've been up to. I know I've missed so much but..... my week was totally awesome.
Sean and I rented movies and went out to dinner. Took some afternoon rides on our friends Harley. Sean's seriously thinking about buying it off him. Oh it was such a wonderfully romantic week. Ok enough of the mooshy stuff.
I also have some other totally awesome news....... I've signed up to take another class with???? .......... Suzanne Dean.... Yeahhhhhhhhhh she is coming to one of my 'kind of' local craft stores. It's almost an hour away so when I take a trip there it's usually only once a month. I took a few of her Copic classes last year and what an awesome great time I had. She is so talented sweet and wicked funny.

So on to today's card.
This weeks theme at Stempel-Magie challenge is use your favorite stamp. I can't narrow one single Magnolia stamp down to just one but this is one of my top 5. I colored her using my Copic markers and added Glamour Dust to her wings. The flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts and I am Roses. The designer paper is by Prima called Fairy Belle. The butterfly I found at a garage sale and the button and charms are from my stash. I distress all of the edges with the Tim Holtz distressing tool, inked with Vintage Photo and added Golden Rod Stickles.

I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge at Stempel-Magie and I look forward to seeing your creations.

Mother's Day Gift Bag DT Stempel-Magie challenge

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday to you all.
Today I am so happy to share with you my very first GDT creation for Stempel-Magie challenge! Gosh this is just so exciting for me and these ladies are so sweet. Thank you Stempel-Magie for making me a part of the team!!!!

So this weeks challenge is flower seed packaging use. I thought this was a perfect opportunity to make a lovely Mother's Day gift. So for my creation I altered this adorable drawstring gift bag which features the lovely Miss Tilda. I colored Tilda in using my Copic markers. The blue and purple flowers are by Magnolia. The trims and buttons are from my stash and the adorable hand crochet butterfly can be found HERE in Sue Runyon Designs etsy shop. The seed packets that I put inside the gift bag are actually images that I printed off the Internet and folded into see packet holders. I wanted the vintage looking one's for my gift bag which I simply filled with the store bought seeds.
I hope my gift bag has inspired you to join this weeks challenge at Stempel-Magie. I can't wait to see your projects!

Thank you for stopping in!

Simply Magnolia Dt card

Good morning all and Happy Sunday. I hope your weekend  has been great thus far. Yesterday Sean and I did some garage sale shopping and I was able to snag this beautiful antique sewing machine table. It's simply beautiful but needs to be painted to match my craft room. I have one just like it but it's really beat up. So I am really excited about my new find.

It's time again for another challenge at Simply Magnolia yeah!!!!! And this weeks theme is Dies/Punches/Ribbon challenge.

For my card I chose one of my most favorite all time Tilda stamps. I just think she is so adorable. I colored her with Copic markers. I used my brand new Pion papers called Mother aren't they gorgeous? I tried really hard not to cover up the beautiful flowers, so I moved all my embellies inward. The beautiful resin frame is by Melissa Frances and the cream flowers I am very proud to say are all handmade by me... I had the most fun making them for this card I wanted to shabby chic look to go with the DP. The flourish die cut is from Magnolia and I used a Martha Stewart stamp for the butterflies.
I hope my card has inspired you to join us for this weeks Dies/Punches/Ribbon challenge at Simply Magnolia

Thanks for visiting.

Spring is springing! Tilda and her tulips

Good morning every one. I hope you all had a wonderful week. Ours was very lovely the weather was just so beautiful. The kids, Jenn and I had a little picnic outside, the first of many for 2012! Jameson had an awesome Birthday as always filled with laughter and love oh and some crying, it isn't a family gathering without someone whaling over something. I have a few Bday pics below.
Today's card that I'd like to share with you features another Tilda and her bunny. The Tulip wheelbarrow is spanking new out of the package. It was another end of the season item that I got last year on sale. I colored using Copic Markers. The sweet sentiment is also by Magnolia. The designer paper is by My Mind's Eye called Jack and Jill. Flowers are by WOC and Recollections. I also found some more sweet little Easter charms, one is an egg which reads Easter across it and the other is a little watering can. It's hard to see but on the removable tag is some twine which I colored in myself to match the layout.
I am so happy you stopped by today.
I hope you all have an awesome weekend!
Hugs Bonnie

This is also a gift to Jameson from Jenn and Rick. Each of their kids has their own hand crafted and painted stools. Not only does Rick does wood working he's also an amazing artist. This adorable Minion on a tractor is from the movie Despicable Me. It's hand drawn and hand painted. I just had to show you what an amazing artist Rick is and how lucky his family is to get such awesome gifts.

Bye for now!

Tilda Painting Easter Eggs CLP DT card

Good morning my lovely friends. Today is the big day. Jameson my youngest grandson turns two but for some reason when you ask him he says he's turning three. It's the funniest thing. We are having a little party for him tonight which is sure to be a fantastic time.
I'd like to share with you the card that I created for the CLP monthly sketch challenge. I chose these two Magnolia stamps I got last year after Easter on sale and have yet to use them. So I was pretty excited to ink them up with Easter right around the corner. I colored Tilda and eggs with my Copic markers. The designer papers are from DCWV called Baby Girl. The flowers are an assortment of Magnolia and Recollections. I also tucked a handmade stick pin which I added a sweet little Easter basket charm. Notice the other egg charm and the little eggs I placed in the flower arrangement? These are so old I found them when I was cleaning out my craft room. The butterfly I think is also Recollections.
So I hope my card has inspired you to join the CLP sketch challenge. You have until March 31st to join. I look forward to seeing your creations!

Thank you for your continued love and support of my art!!!! I am always so humbled by your the wonderful comments that you leave.

Lil Princess Tilda gone shabby chic

Good morning every one. I hope you are all doing well. Sorry I've not been around to visit I've been really busy spring cleaning. It's so nice to have the windows and doors open. Pretty soon I'll be poking around in the garden. Yesterday I was startled to have a Woodpecker rapping away at my drainpipe right outside my window. I'm told when they do that they are calling for a mate. Awww the wonders of nature.
Today I have another Magnolia card to share with you. She's from the newest Princes & Princesses collections. This beautiful designer paper collection from My Mind's Eye called Blush inspired me to go shabby chic. I colored Tilda in with my Copic markers and added some liquid pearls around her. Flowers are by Wild Orchids Crafts. The pearl flourishes are by Recollections. I also added a sweet pearly button which I thought was very shabby as well as the little pieces of string pearls which I tucked within the flowers.

Thank you for stopping in today. I really appreciate every ones comments.

Simply Magnolia DT card and WOW $ Tree haul

Hello my lovelies, I hope you all had a terrific weekend! Our weekend was pretty quiet. Although, I took a ride out to our local $ Tree Store and got a mother load of beautiful high quality paper flowers. They are gorgeous check em out below.

Today we have a new challenge at Simply Magnolia and the theme is Anything Goes. How easy is that? So ink up those lovely Tilda's and join us for this weeks challenge!!!! I look forward to seeing your creations.

Today's card features yet another Tilda yeah! I colored her in using Copic markers and highlighted around her with Liquid Pearls. The gorgeous designer paper is by My Mind's Eye called Jack n Jill. The adorable sentiment is by Autumn Leaves I thought it very appropriate for this image.  I used the Die-Namics dainty lace border sorry it's kind of hidden. I placed a lovely floral pebble below the flowers and that's by Recollection. All of the flowers are by WOC. All of the rhinestones including the circular one around the sentiment at by Queen & Co. Bakers twine is by We R Memory Keepers. I saw a U-Tube video on how to make your own color twine which I'm going to try.

Thank you for stopping by
Have a wonderful day full of smiles
Hugs Bonnie

So here is my $ Tree haul I went a little crazy buying them up. I also got some trims and sprays and some cute little birdies that I sometimes incorporate into my projects. These two ladies were eyeballing my card and finally asked what I do with all of them and I replied simply that I'm not crazy I'm a crafter. OMG they cracked up. So if you happen to have a $ Tree Store in your area see if you can get some of these lovelies. I'll probably do a small candy sharing some of these so watch for that.

So Sweet

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had an awesome week.
Today I'm here to share with you another Magnolia card which I colored in using my Distress inks. And this is the first image that I'm really really happy and satisfied with. I had purchased a #1 tiny tipped paint brush and I think it really helped me apply the darker colors for contrast. So I could really get right in there with the Black Soot and Festive Berries distress ink. The gorgeous designer papers are by My Mind's Eye from the blush collection. I used some beautiful Prima lace and Say it with Pearls. The flowers are by Recollections and the die cut doily flowers are by Magnolia. The sweet little bird charms are from my friend Stella. Thank you Stella! The gorgeous die cut scalloped tag is also by Magnolia. And finally I finished it up with some other lovely details. The key charms by 7 Gypsies, loose pearls and lace butterfly is from my friend Rebekah. Thank you Rebekah!

I hope you've enjoyed today's card and thank you so much for stopping in.
Have a sparkling day.

Happy Mother's Day

Good morning my lovelies. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was quite busy spending time with friends and family. Sharlene, Jenn and I went to see that movie "Gone" and it was fabulous! Saturday night Sean and I went to dinner with two other couples and ended up at one of the couples homes to play pool. I mostly chatted with my girlfriends and played with their 4 dogs. Sunday I spent the day with my daughter and my 3 grand kids.
I was able to do some crafting and made this card which features Tilda. I colored her in using my Copic markers. I used a variety of flowers which are mostly WOC. I created a removable tag with a crystal charm that I also made. So of course I also had to include and handmade crystal stick pin. The sweet little hummingbird charm is from my stash!

Thank you for stopping in today.
I hope you are have a sparkling Tuesday!

This handsome lump on the floor is my fur baby Buddy. I tried to sneak a picture of him hugging his baby while fast asleep. His hearing is sharp and he watches me like a hawk so I couldn't get the picture. I'm still trying to get a picture of him laying on his back, legs up in the air, while sleeping. OMG it's so funny!
