Happy Easter to all of my dear friends!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful and joyful Easter with your family and friends.

I wanted to share with you a few Easter decorations that I made this week.
The first was created using half an egg carton. I painted the inside and out with white acrylic paint and added some vintage images that I found on line. They are so stinking cute. I embellished with Wild Orchid flowers, pearls and lace from my stash.  I got the inspiration from one of my dear scrappy friends Ana from Scrappy Pink Corner. She made the most gorgeous decorative egg cartons that I just had to give it a try. I would have done two but when I was breaking the carton apart the other side got demolished. Thank you so much Ana!!!

Sorry this is just the inside lid I forgot to post a pic of the eggs and rest of the goodies that I placed inside.

My second project here was also a lot of fun to make. I purchased a large plastic egg from Michael's and Mod Podged beautiful dp from K&Co called Merry weather. I was going for a vintage look and I think between the paper and the rose and cream flowers it turned out as I wanted it to. The Mod Podge was quite messy but a lot of fun. I hand made the pearl sprays, I saw them for sale at Michaels in the wedding section and thought no way I can totally make those. My awesome friend and sweetie pie Anne from Felixir is who inspired me to make one of these decorative Easter eggs. I kept drooling over the gorgeous ones that her and her sisters made that I couldn't put off making one until next year.
Thank you so much Anne my little sweetie from Norway!

Your egg carton is adorable. I am so glad that I inspired you to make one. This is what makes this blogging and youtube world of crafters so much fun. Super cut.
Now that egg is to die for. Beautiful. Your work is amazing. You make the nicest things. From cards, to eggs, to egg cartons to birdhouses. Oh oh, you are in trouble.
Just wanted to let you know that I made another bird house. I went and bought the same one you made and altered it. I will be posting it in my blog soon. Thank you for inspiring me to make one like yours.
Happy Easter to you and your family.
ANA
