Hanglar Noel Christmas card

Good Morning all! Short post here as it's 1:30 am and I'm pooped but I really wanted to get this card posted. I have a super busy weekend. So I decided to do another Christmas themed card using Hanglar. Isn't this stamp so cute. I've had it since last year and just never got the chance to ink it up. I once again used my Distress Inks to color these little darlings in. Flowers are by Wild Orchids. The strip of white pearls are by Recollections. The swirl pearls are Prima. The chipboard sentiment and hearts are by Heidi Grace and are as old as the hills. LOL I enhanced with Texture Magic paint, Glitter Snow, Ice white pearl pen and Gold Stickles.

Tilda with her Daffodil vintage style

Hello! Glad you stopped by today. I wanted to share with you a card that I created with a Tilda image colored in using Distress Inks. I colored her in a while back and just now finished the card. I used one of my newest Spellbinder heart die's. I recently purchased it from this huge card/craft show that was in town OMG I was in heaven. So many booths so many supplies it was overwhelmingly fantastic! Anyhoo I tried to make the card kind of vintage, I think, I'm still also practicing on that. I usually use bright bold colors but I really want to branch out and not do the same ol same ol. So here is my lovely Tilda with her funny colored Daffodil LOL I need to get more Distress ink colors. I also added a handmade stick pin. Also kind of vintage looking. The gorgeous lace is from one of my most treasured friends. Thanks Sunshine!

Hanglar sorry another bold one

Hello my lovelies. First things first. The Red Sox won last night. Whoop Whoop the game rocked. I woke this morning with a soar throat from yelling my brains out. So exciting!!!!

So I swear this card started out light and for some reason I see dramatic and bold colors ha ha. Man I am a creature of habit. It's double sided paper and the image just looked better with the bold colors. I guess I have to start out by using lighter colored Copics on my images. Anyway I used this gorgeous paper from Crate Paper called Portrait collection Bouquet specifically for the light colors which are on the back of the card heehee. I pimped up the Prima flowers with pretty brads some Dimensional paint and stickles. I added Liquid pearls around her frame. I used my Tim Holtz distress tool on the DP, inked the edges with Walnut Stain and added Golden Rod stickles. This is one of my favorite techniques instead of sewing around all the frames.

As Scarlet O'Hara said, "Tomorrow is another day". Well then perhaps tomorrows card will be less bold. I really do try....

Good Morning my lovelies! Another rainy day here in Massachusetts USA. I guess it's good for crafting because your not too tempted to venture outside.

I have another attitude Hanglar to share. I just love these sassy sweeties. I colored her in using my Copic markers. The larger flowers were originally white and I don't have many green so I misted it with alcohol ink, distressed the edges and blinged it up with Golden Rod Stickles. I just got one of the new Spellbinders dies, isn't it pretty? It reminds me of those iron gates.

Hello, Hello, Hello! It's been forever since I've posted. I lost my creative MoJo for a while and I totally blame it on blogger Oh and Friday the 13th. Cause that's when it disappeared. I lost tons of comments which really makes me feel so sad that my dedicated readers and bloggin buddies takes precious time to leave love then it's Gone. Grrrrr... So upsetting. Ok I'm done with my rant. Anyway I thought I was going to have a coloring fest going on this weekend. And all I could muster up was this little darling. Sassy isn't she? I just love her. The card is not what I originally envisioned but at least I made something. Seriously I had to make myself sit down a few times just to start the card after she was all colored in.

Please tell me this kind of stuff happens to you. Please????? Ok lie if you have to.

I have to apologise for not visiting you much this week. It's just been a blah week for me. But starting tomorrow I' m getting seriously, creativity motivated and hopefully catch up with my bloggin buddies.

I told you I wouldn't post a Magnolia card in a few days and I bet you miss her lol

Today's card features one of my most favorite Hanglar stamps. I colored her in with my Copics and added glitter to her wings. The big butterfly die is by Marianne Design which I also added glitter to. The detail in these die's are beautiful. I love love love 'em. Yesterday my car automatically zoomed to Michael's crafts where they have sheer and polyester satin ribbon on sale. I won't tell you how many rolls I bought, we just won't go there. The two flowers on the side of the blue one in the center I hand made, as I said I'm totally into that right now. It's an awesome way of using up your designer paper which also coordinates with your card.

Hanglar "Noel"

Oh good golly I woke up this morning and realized it's Friday!!! Where did this week go? Well I remember making a few cards, doing some laundry and cleaning my disastrous studio. That's pretty much all I remember. It's really a blurr. Good sign to slow down. I'm gonna have to work on that. LOL

Anyhoo today's card was really enjoyable to make and took forever to complete. The two tree's I created by dry embossing using a stencil by Lasting Impressions. I used Delta texture magic for the snow effect at the top. And added Flower Soft around the edges. I coloured in my Hanglar image using Distress Inks and glitter on the wings.This gorgeous brown flower in the center is by Petaloo and comes in a variety of beautiful colors. I had to buy them ALL which I purchased HERE from McMahon Five Designs store as well as the small Prima roses.Sentiment by K&Co. The random pearls are from Q&Co.Here is a nice pic of the side to show how the many layers which really gives it lots of depth.I am submitting my card into the following challenges

I think it's from the wedding collection but I blinged it up Birthday style. I coloured her and the cake in using my Copics. For the cake icing I used my light blue Pearl Pen by Viva.Lovely flowers by Wild Orchids and Say it With Pearls by Prima.I have some awesome challanges that I am submitting my card into.

Christmas Hanglar & MMSC76

Good morning my lovelies. My daughter Jenn and her hubby Rick are hosting their annual children's Halloween party today which is always lots of fun. We've still got some spectacular colors left on the tress which will make for a beautiful back drop for photos.

I really could not wait to use this new Hanglar stamp of mine. I just fell hopelessly in love with her. And for some reason I am really favoring the reds and blacks together for my Christmas cards this year. I used my Copics to color her in working again diligently on my shading. I stickled her wings and added a sprinkle of some Martha Stewart glitter. Of course I embellished with Wild Orchid flowers and Prima Say it in Crystals. I also used my super cool new Spellbinder die for her frame. And finished it off with some snowflake buttons which I also added some Martha Stewart glitter.
