Hey everyone I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was spent with the family. We had an awesome picnic on Sunday and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Awww that's the memories you cherish forever.
I know it's been a while since I've posted and it seems like I keep saying that. But..... I have a little something that I'd like to share with you. I have a friend that is totally into grunge and this is a tag that I created for her. The tag itself is made out of corrugated cardboard which I covered with designer paper by g c d studios called Antiquties. I used Distressed inks to add some color to show through the embellishments. The dress form was an image that I printed on Kraft paper and crackled. The flowers are all handmade. You embellished with a vintage doily, burlap and some muslin fabric cut from an old curtain. I fussy cut the sentiment from the paper collection. I also used some of the Tim Holtz film strip and a chipboard bird painted in cream, distressed with ink and also crackled. This project is totally out of my safe zone but I am happy how it turned out.
