Sarah Kay Lavender and Lace

Hello everyone. This week as been considerably cooler than last week, thank gosh I just wasn't ready for that intense heat yet. Today is exciting for me at the family and I are going to see Hunger Games. I read the book which was totally fabulous and I heard the movie was awesome too. So I'm really excited for movie night.

Today I have a card to share with you. It features this really adorable Sarah Kay image that I inked up with Copic markers. I had seen her out in blog land and thought OMG I have her and dug her out. Poor dear was just waiting to come to life. The beautiful designer papers were leftover scraps that I used up. The lace I purchased at Joanne's Fabric using a coupon as it was really expensive but with a 50% coupon it's totally worth it so I got a few yards. The larger flower to the left is from Recollections and I believe the rest are from Wild Orchids. The pearl trim at the top is also by Recollections and I have a handmade stick pin which I tucked behind the flowers.

I'm going to submit my card into the following challenges
ABC L lavender and lace
Dream Valley 28 easter
Joanna Sheen spring is in the air
Paper Sundaes 113 spring blossoms
Party Time Tuesdays 61 anything goes
Papercraft Star 90 chicken

Garden made with love

Good Morning my lovelies! Is it Friday already? I just don't know where the time goes.
Some of you already know but I wanted to let the rest of you in on my fantastic news. Sean and I as well as our best friends are taking a trip to Ireland the first two weeks of August. I still can't believe it's actually happening. I wanted to go there for which seems like a very long time.
So on to some more fabulous and exciting news. Yeah whoo hoo... I've been chosen to be a guest designer for Stempel-Magie . OMG can you believe this? I got the news and I was totally over come with joy. You guys know how much I love my Maggies so this is just perfect for me to showcase and share some inspiration with this awesome challenge blog!!!! Yeah doing the happy dance.

Today's card features this adorable image by Sarah Kay. I colored her in using my Copic markers, I know you guys I should be using my Distress inks but she was given to me as a gift stamped on Copic paper. The larger pink flowers are from the $ store and the others are from WOC. I incorporated some crochet flowers new at Michael's Crafts Recollections. The lace, charm and pearl strand is from my stash and Oh I almost forgot the gorgeous designer paper is by My Mind's Eye called Princess.
Thanks for poppin in! Have a sparkling day!
Hugs Bonnie

The Joy's of Spring

Hello every one. OMG I can't believe it's Wednesday already. I've been a bit busy this week working on a class that I signed up for called One Little Word. It's all about choosing a word that you want to focus on all year. Each month creating projects/pages that revolve around the word and what it means to you and how it pertains to your life. Well I got a new program called photoshop and I've never used it before and I'm having a really hard time understanding how it works. I'm slowly getting the hang of it but it's quite time consuming. I've yet to complete January and February's pages and here we are in the middle of March ...sigh.

Today's card features an adorable image from Sarah Kay. I colored her in using Copic markers. The designer papers are by K&Co called Julianne. I used flowers by Prima, the crochet ones are by Recollections. The butterfly charm I ripped off a hair clip and the key one is from an old charm bracelet. Buttons and lace are from my stash and the metal corner embelli is from Wild Orchids which I embossed.

Thank you for visiting me today. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week.
Hugs and much love Bonnie

Sarah Kay Butterfly Kisses

Good Morning my lovelies. I am so sorry that I've neglected my blog this entire week. I wasn't feeling well. But, I'm much better now. I hope you've all been well and enjoyed your week. I can't wait to poke around and see what you've all been up to. I need a good dose of inspiration after taking the week off.

I'd like to share with you this card that I put together using Sarah Kay die cuts. This is totally cheating because there is no coloring involved. They are already colored in and all you have to do is punch the images out use the tiny pop dots to layer them for a 3-D effect and your done.

Have a fabulous day my friends.
Love and lots of hugs Bonnie

Friends Are The Sunshine of Life

Hello everyone. Happy Hump Day! Things have cooled down a bit here. We had the most violent winds yesterday. I felt like Dorothy in the Wizard Of Oz. Most of the time I really love a good storm with the thunder and lightning. But this was just heavy winds and we are surrounded by BIG tree's that could possibly get well acquainted with the pool/deck or house. SCARY!
Here is today's card that I created my main theme was the All handmade paper flowers for Cute Card Thursday challenge. These were really fun to make and so easy. The very best part is they were made with the card stock paper I used on the card so they coordinate perfectly.

My card recipe
Image "Precious Moments" by Sarah Kay. I colored the image using copic markers I thought the pastel colors suited this image more than my usual bold colors that I choose.
Card stock paper Paper Doll by K&Co.
A variety of beautiful lace.
Pearl by Recollections.
I am submitting my card to the following challenges
Cute Card Thursday challenge #110 Make your own flowers
Paper Play Challenge Furry friends
KL Stampin N Scrappin challenge #28 inside out
Lili Of The Valley challenge #52 Here comes summer
