"A True Friend" Tri Shutter card

Hello my friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. Mine was glorious! I had a wonderful weekend that started on Friday when I had a surprise visit from Jenn my best friend and daughter and my 3 grandchildren in tow. We spent most of the day outside, you couldn't ask for a lovelier day. Well that is until Easter Sunday rolled around. Sharlene hosted Easter dinner at her house with almost 30 family members. I personally thought she was crazy out of her mind but she really enjoys hosting parties. The kids had a massive Easter Egg hunt that I thought was the highlight of the day. I was sad to have the day come to an end.

So on to today's card creation. I am very pleased with the results of the image that I used. It is called
"Dance of Butterfly" by Sweet Pea Stamps. I have been putting it off feeling intimidated with the challenging details this stamp offers. It was wonderful to watch it as it came alive. I used the Tri Shutter card fold which is also new to me again pleased with the results. I hope you like it and that it gives you some inspiration. Please leave a comments with your thoughts. Thank you!

GASP! Oh Bonnie! This is GORGEOUS! You know, I haven't even attempted to color my Sweet Pea stamps because I look at all the details, and I'm like, "uhhhh ... not today." lol! You've colored her BEAUTIFULLY! And this card! You've totally inspired me to add so much more details to mine on all flaps! This is just soooo inspiring love! And I haven't done a "pocket" for a long time now ... I think I will soon! :) Oh you've totally geared up my motivation back to speed! hehe! Thank you sooo much!

And I'm so happy to hear that your Easter was a beautiful one! :)

Love you,

Great card. I love these images too and I know what you mean about feeling intimidated by them. I am so glad my friend finally talked me into trying them. It is amazing watching them go from the black and white stamped images and come to life in color. Thanks for playing along with S2G's Twisted Thursday!
